For 20 years (since 1998) arthroscopic (minimally invasive) interventions have been performed at the Carolina clinic. It was in Carolina Medical that for the first time in the country unique methods of medical care were used for orthopedic problems. Here, for the very first time in Europe, an alloplasty of the ankle joint (InBone) was performed. The Carolina Medical Center pulled the curtain in the region to use stem cell therapy in orthopedics, which are extracted from adipose tissue.

The Carolina Medical Center also helps to solve orthopedic problems in children. Often, unique, less invasive methods are developed for this. For example, in 2009, the clinic was the first in Poland to correct the axis of the child’s foot using the less invasive method using 8 plates.
Carolina also performed meniscus transplantation for the very first time in Poland, changing the limb length, correcting the limb axis in children, and other procedures. They have adapted a special way to restore the anterior cruciate ligament in a child. Surgeons in the clinic managed to carry out a unique manipulation to correct the bone of the forearm in a girl (10 years old) using modeling technologies and 3D printing.
In addition, the Carolina Clinic has developed a method for correcting the anterior cruciate ligament, taking into account the fact that the child will grow. This method has been recommended by experts from the international ACL Study Group.

In the initial period of work, in parallel with neurosurgical issues, he was interested in the problems of traumatology.
