Features of the Clinic
REHABILITATION COURSES AT THE NOBEL CLINIC
Before rehabilitation, the patient undergoes diagnostics. He or she gives blood for analysis, provides anamnesis - a complete medical history, CT or MRI scans. Doctors also measure the sensitivity of the limbs, the severity of pain, muscle strength and other important indicators.
Duration and set of procedures are appointed individually for each patient. On average the course can last 14, 21 or 28 days. The set of exercises, duration of the training, exercises on robotic simulators are selected based on the indications and contraindications of the patient. Depending on the purpose of the clinic visit, the patient can choose 3 types of courses:
health rehabilitation;
physiotherapy course;
robotic rehabilitation.

HEALTH-IMPROVING MEDICINE AT NOBEL HOSPITAL
The Health Spa Rehabilitation Program will be suitable for healthy patients who want to undergo prevention of joint or heart diseases, relieve stress, and spend their vacation with benefit.
The course lasts from 2 to 7 days and is based on natural recovery. During this time the patient visits hot springs, drinks healing mineral water, goes to spa procedures, massages, and visits the fitness room.
Fangotherapy is available for residents of the clinic - treatment with mud from mineral springs. The mud is applied to the damaged part or wrapped around the whole body. Therapeutic mud relieves inflammation and pain, improves blood flow to the muscles.

Patients can use the unique service of the Nobel Clinic - balneotherapy. It is a recovery with red thermal waters from springs, which were formed thousands of years ago. The Nobel Center is the only clinic in Turkey, where this service is available.
The centre has indoor and outdoor swimming pools of different temperatures - from 33 to 38 degrees. Water in these springs contains many useful minerals - calcium, sodium, magnesium, carbon. Patients of the centre are recommended to spend up to 20 minutes in thermal pools no more than 2-3 times a day. Attendance at the pool is regulated by a doctor in order to get the most out of balneotherapy.
Geothermal springs of Nobel Medical Center are licensed by the Ministry of Health of Turkey.
PHYSIOTHERAPY AT NOBEL REHABILITATION CENTRE
The physiotherapeutic rehabilitation program is designed for 10 days or more. It will be useful for patients who need to recover from joint surgery. The course is also recommended for patients with cardiovascular disease, after strokes, accidents, falls, sports injuries.
Besides recovery with the help of natural springs, they undergo a special exercise program. It is prepared for each patient individually. In order to assess the patient's condition, a rehabilitologist conducts special tests:
motion range measurement (ROM test);
pain syndrome assessment;
coordination measurement;
breath assessment;
posture assessment;
muscle atrophy assessment.
This diagnosis will help the doctor to plan the duration of the program, the set of exercises, and their intensity to keep the practice safe for the patient. Similar measurements are also taken throughout the rehabilitation course and at the end of the course. This will allow the patient to see objective progress after the physical therapy. To improve the patient's condition, the Nobel Rehabilitation Center offers such physiotherapy methods:
|
Dr Brunnstrom's stroke recovery |
The method helps restore the mobility of atrophied muscles after a stroke. Rehabilitation using the Brannstrom method is carried out in 7 stages. Before the procedure, the patient's muscles are sluggish, in the process of their work spasticity is reduced and at the end of the program, the patient is already able to perform complex movements, to move freely. |
|
Method of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation or PNF-method |
The technique improves flexibility, strength and range of motion of the patient by loading the muscle complex. As a result, the patient no longer feels pain in the movements, can walk freely, bend their arms and legs. |
|
Kinesiological Typing |
This technique allows for restoring damaged muscles and ligaments with the help of elastic bands. They are fixed on the damaged areas and take up a part of the muscle load. They also improve blood circulation in this area, which facilitates its rapid recovery. |
|
Progressive Resistance Exercises |
This is a type of strength training that tones muscles atrophied after an illness. The technique helps patients with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. |
|
Lymphatic drainage massage |
The lymph circulation, which nourishes the muscles, is improved with the help of a special apparatus. The technique is effective for patients with walking difficulties. |
|
Brain-Gym Exercise Complex |
These are 26 exercises that help the patient regain a balance and coordination. The technique helps patients with craniocerebral injuries or after a stroke. |
Depending on the individual characteristics, the patient may also be assigned stretching exercises, hand motorisation and stair walking training. The Nobel Clinic also employs specialists in ergotherapy and breathing exercises.

ROBOTIC REHABILITATION AT THE NOBEL MEDICAL CENTRE
The robotic rehabilitation programme is shown to patients in serious condition. It lasts from 3 weeks and includes not only wellness and physiotherapeutic procedures but also individual sessions on special simulators.
Motorika Reo Go system

This simulator enables you to restore hand mobility and develop elbow, shoulder and hand muscles. The device is effective for patients after cerebral and spinal cord stroke, multiple sclerosis and paralysis.
The result is achieved by repeating the same actions many times. They transmit signals to the brain, which connect the neurons into a group. The better coordinated the neurons in this group, the faster and easier it is to move. After a few sessions, the neurons start working so cohesively that the person is free to button and unbutton, tie their shoelaces, dress, carry objects and perform other normal activities.
The advantage of the Motorika ReoGo is that it allows for faster rehabilitation with:
opportunities to gradually increase the exercise;
patient motivation with a game-like interface;
feedback on the patient's success;
individual settings for each person.
Walking simulator Motorika Reo Ambulator
The Motorika Reo Ambulator helps patients regain walking skills and the ability to keep their balance, increase muscle tone and regain movement coordination. This therapy is prescribed after strokes, joint replacement operations, Guillain-Barre syndrome, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and myelitis.
The Motorika Reo Ambulator system is an exoskeleton for feet with sensors. They take readings from the muscles, assessing the load on them and their activity. Thanks to them, it is possible to regulate the intensity of training in order to develop weakened muscles. The device is equipped with a virtual reality system, which motivates patients to exercise.
| Rehabilitation after a stroke |

| 21-day programme |
| Motorika Reo Ambulator excercises |
| Intensive physiotherapy |
| Ergotherapy, balneotherapy, kinesitherapy |
After classes with Motorika Reo Ambulator, the patient learns to walk and keep the balance without thinking about it.
AntalgicTrak spinal decompression device

Some hernias can be cured without surgery, thanks to competent rehabilitation. The AntalgicTrak system is used at the Nobel Clinic to treat spinal and cervical hernias as well as sciatica.
The AntalgicTrak spinal decompression device improves blood circulation in the spine, regenerates cartilage and reduces pressure on the spinal disc. As a result, the patient's pain goes away and the hernia is reduced.
The treatment of the hernia with AntalgicTrak is painless. The full course lasts 10 sessions of 20 minutes each. The sessions are held every day. In 95% of patients, the condition improves after using AntalgicTrak. Within 4 months after rehabilitation, the hernia is gradually reduced.
All devices used in the Nobel rehabilitation centre are CE and FDA approved.
REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN IN THE NOBEL CENTRE
The clinic accepts children from 5 to 18 years. Most often, they come here for the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy. In order to help young patients, specialists combine natural, traditional and robotic techniques.

Bathing in hot springs and mud wraps relax the muscles of children and naturally prepare them for more serious activities. They also improve the overall well-being of the child.
Physiotherapy for children with cerebral palsy is performed using the Bobat and Vojta methods. Gymnastics using the Bobat method develops children's muscles and tones them up. Vojta therapy restores the child's lost motor reflexes. At the Nobel rehabilitation centre, specialists teach parents basic physiotherapy exercises to continue rehabilitation at home.
The robotic rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy is particularly effective. The Nobel Clinic has separate Motorika ReoGo and Motorika Reo Ambulator devices for children. They are safe and encourage the child to move around through a playful format of activities. Robotic rehabilitation develops hand mobility, spine strength and posture in children.
HISTORY OF THE PATIENT'S REHABILITATION AT THE CLINIC NOVEL
One of the most successful rehabilitation at the Nobel Clinic is the story of patient Sukru Karakush with Langerhans cell histiocytosis. It is a serious and rare disease in which a person's bones hurt, teeth fall out, he or she has a rash, cough and other unpleasant symptoms. The disease has chained Sukru to the bed. He was treated in Izmir for the first two years, but his muscles were getting weaker every month. Sukru almost gave up when he got to the Nobel Medical Centre.
Here he was offered a robotic rehabilitation course. And 5 years after his illness began, Sukru took his first step. His family was endlessly happy about this success. According to the patient himself, the Nobel Clinic became his second family. Here, the joy of life returned to him. Now the patient can get up, walk slowly, keep his balance and perform some daily movements.
