Florence Nightingale is Turkey's leading medical network, founded in 1989. Since its establishment, the clinics have started gaining international recognition and popularity among foreign patients.
From the first steps of the treatment to the very discharge, the patients have access to unique medical and general services.
The network consists of four general hospitals and two medical centres. They provide quality services in all medical areas. Particularly popular among foreigners are cardiac surgery, transplantology, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, neurology, oncology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reproductive medicine, pediatric oncology and vascular surgery.
In 2010, Florence Nightingale opened the region's first Smart Hospital equipped with robotic surgery technology. Telemedicine is also practiced here. The staff is fully trained to perform modern diagnostics and treatment.
Florence Nightingale was the first private clinic in Turkey to successfully perform liver and heart transplants, open fetal surgery and robotic heart surgery. More than 300 Da Vinci operations for urological diseases are performed annually.

Medical staff
Florence Nightingale Clinics employs over 2,500 specialists. Doctors are licensed by the Medical Council, which enables them to practice in Turkey. Also, many are certified by the Medical Councils of the USA, Australia, and Europe. Before the employment, every potential doctor undergoes a qualification level check.
The certification process involves a formal review of each specialist's qualifications and experience by the specialised committees. These reviews are repeated every 3 years.
Florence Nightingale nurses are recertified every five years. Those with special responsibilities (Nurses in the NICU) receive special training and have according certificates.

Internationally recognized and accredited medical center
Florence Nightingale clinics were among the first in Turkey to be recognised by both JCI and ISO. They cooperate with some of the most prime medical centres in the USA and other countries.
In 2015, the network was accredited by QHA Trent, the independent British Accreditation Commission.
Features of the Clinic
All the hospitals at the Florence Nightingale Network provide the most comfortable accomodations for the inpatient care. The patients stay in spacy rooms with orthopedic beds, the most recommendable for people with health issues, especially with spine and locomotor system. All the necessary requirements like a bathroom, telephone or a nurse call button are available. Satellite TV provides entertainment during the stay, and any other arising meets can be met with room services.
Among the hospitals of the region, Gayrettepe Clinic is considered to be one of the highest class. This is mostly due to the nouveau equipment the medical center possesses. The diagnostic department uses the latest models of MRI, CT, PET-CT and PET-MRI scanners. The surgeons frequently use Gamma Knife and Da Vinci robot to operate on their patients.
The Radiology Department uses Picture Archiving and Communication System for rapid and accurate diagnosis.

Kadıköy Florence Nightingale Hospital
At the Kadıköy Clinic, international patients can seek treatment for illnesses of all kinds. Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital
The 35,000 m2 Florence Nightingale Şişli Hospital has 12 surgery units and 300 beds. It was opened in 1989. Initially, it only offered cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Today, their range of services has grown beyond recognition. They offer general surgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, neurosurgery and robotic surgery. Their Interventional Radiology and Ear-Nose-Throat Departments are of high reputation on the medical community. The Transplantology Center performs heart, liver, kidney and bone marrow transplantations.
