Acıbadem Atakent University Hospital was opened in winter 2014. It is located in Atakent, Turkey and is the 16th in the well-known network of Acıbadem Clinics. The hospital has received one of the most prestigious accreditations - Joint Commission International Certificate, which confirms the high quality of medical services.

The hospital covers 60,000 square meters. Its infrastructure includes 300 wards and 8 operating rooms. The clinic can receive 278 patients for inpatient treatment. The intensive care unit has 29 beds. There are such departments at the clinic as:

The maximum capacity of the Acıbadem Atakent Clinic is 136 inpatient wards. Standard single rooms have everything to make the patient feel comfortable: Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning system, fridge, wardrobe, a safe. To cater to the specific needs of patients with limited mobility, the wards have metal handrails, emergency cords and a nurse call button. In addition to an ergonomic hospital bed there is also a double sofa for the accompanying person.

The clinic also has 24 double rooms for the patient and his/her companion. They have everything that's in a single room. There is a separate bed, a safe and a wardrobe for the companion.

MR-LINAC linear accelerator	Technology for radiation therapy with magnetic resonance (MR) navigation. This device is considered one of the most accurate methods of irradiation of tumours because it allows the surgeon to clearly see the neoplasm. 90% success is achieved with cancer of the prostate, lungs, pancreas, and abdominal organs. MR-LINAC radiotherapy is also effective for liver metastases.
The da Vinci robot	The system is remotely operated by a surgeon and consists of a console, two HD cameras and flexible surgical instruments. The da Vinci system is frequently used in urooncology, transplantology and cardiac surgery.
TrueBeam Linear Accelerator	Unit for radiation therapy. It can irradiate mobile tumours in the lungs, liver and chest. The accuracy of TrueBeam radiation therapy is 0.5 mm. It is safe for healthy tissue and thus reduces the number and severity of side effects after treatment.

The chemotherapy treatment programme complies with European protocols, which are regularly updated. The clinic has 32 wards for taking chemotherapy courses. In the process of cancer treatment, doctors develop individual accompanying therapy for the patient, which helps to reduce side effects.
